AKVIS Enhancer - software and plug-in for processing images, designed to improve image detail, the correction of dark areas and sharpening boundaries. Very often the picture seems hopelessly tainted, too dark, muddy, indistinct. The reasons may be different, and in many cases it is reparable. AKVIS Enhancer (program name translates as "improver") helps in many difficult cases. The program works in the modes: Enhancer, Focus, Smart Correction and HDR.
Enhancer mode provides comprehensive correction of each point of the image without losing quality, allows you to correct any single picture to show detail in bright and dark areas. In this mode the program improves the texture, emphasizes the details, pulling them out of the illuminated and shaded areas. Enhancer corrects underexposed pictures, images taken against the sun, and even helps get rid of fog or smoke.
Focus mode helps to sharpen the defocused image, to emphasize certain parts of the image, correct a fuzzy object in the photo.
Smart Correction Mode is designed for tone correction of images, which is changing the brightness of pixels in the dark and light areas, thereby improving the overall picture. This mode allows you to adjust not only the whole image, but also the individual color areas (eg, lighten only a portrait, leaving the background intact, or darken the overexposed sky).
Mode HDR (only available in version standalone) provides images with high dynamic range of a few shots of the same object taken with different exposures.
The program is used not only for correction of family photos and art photos, Enhancer is used as publishers and editors of technical literature to provide an illustration of equipment as specific as possible. In medicine, this program helps with the recognition of fuzzy X-ray images.
AKVIS Enhancer allows you to store your favorite and most frequently used settings as presets and recall them when needed, which facilitates and speeds up the work.
AKVIS Enhancer is represented as a plugin to image editors (plugin) and as a separate, independent program (standalone).
Enhancer as a separate (independent) program allows you to work in all four modes (Enhancer, Focus, Smart Correction, HDR), while the plug-Enhancer - in the first three (Enhance, Focus, Smart Correction).
The program Enhancer (standalone edition) also includes additional features photo-editing: the Postprocessing tab you can change the brightness, contrast and saturation, to make correction of the channels.
The plugin supports batch file processing, which allows automatic editing of a large number of photographs. This is very useful when dealing with the same type of defects, as often happens.
